“We bought our offices at Wall Street Conyers five years ago, and prior to that we leased here for 10 years.  The lease was twice as costly as purchasing the space, and we bought double the space, so it’s a perfect scenario.  We’re on a great road, where we get a lot of exposure for our practice.   The new management of Wall Street Conyers is great and they have revamped it completely and it now looks like a professional building.  It is back up to grade and the irrigation system is fixed, so the grounds are also nice.

Our staff at Conyers Family Chiropractic Center has 40 years of service between us, and we’ve just added a second chiropractor to our practice.  We also offer massage therapy, foot detox and nutritional counseling.  Our services complement each other and our patients are our family.  We believe in balancing the body, balancing the nervous system.  I am certified in pediatrics and we serve every age group – from babies to our eldest patient, who is 97 years young.”

EpiCity Smartens Up Wall Street Conyers

How to Furnish a Great Office Space Without Breaking the Bank

If you’re eager to upgrade your workspace but worried about the financial implications, you’re in the right place. There are plenty of ways to create a comfortable, productive office without going crazy on the budget.

Recently, we stumbled upon a great article at Dontrepreneur.com. The author suggests that, when furnishing your office space, you should “shop like a college student.”

Most college students approach their furniture shopping with two things in mind: affordability and durability. And they don’t shy away from used items.

The author of this article suggests starting your search with other start-ups in your area:

“Other founders may be moving, shutting down, or downsizing and have available stuff at discount prices. Be sure to bring along a camera and take pictures so you can capture the things you may purchase and imagine them in your space.”

The author then suggests hitting the Internet for some great finds. He offers the following list of acceptable price ranges in which you should be able to find quality items:

  • Employee office chairs – $60 to $200 (buy what you can afford–but it must have ergonomic features!)
  • Employee workstations – $20 to $150 (Wooden table to decent frosted glass desks)
  • Desk lamps – $5 to $10
  • Standing lamps – $19 to $30
  • Futon/couch – $99 to $199
  • TV – Under $400
  • TV stand – $50 to $99
  • Office supplies – Dollar store (expect Uni ball pens—a must have!)
  • Ottomans and end tables – $10 to $20
  • Bookcases – $29 to $79 (depending on size)
  • Xbox – $199
  • Microwave – $29 to $39
  • Refrigerator – $100 to $170
  • Stereo – Bring in the one you have stored from college
  • Rugs – $10 to $40
  • Whiteboard space – $12 to $99
  • Waste bins – $2 to $7

Coupons are also a great way to save on office furniture and equipment. Bed Bath and Beyond, Office Depot and Target all have great selections of office items and regularly offer coupons and discounts both online and in-store. A little time spent bargain hunting can save you a bundle.
